announce the release of SMARTset v3.4.1

Multi Tenancy

  • New Customer and Type Administration UI, fully linked with the user and security module
  • Dashboards can be setup as Customer based along with the usual dashboard template types
  • Customers can only see dashboard data for transducers they have been granted access to

VT update

  • In the past, Virtual Transducers have always been connected to the System DCU. This link is now amended so VTs can be linked to ANY available DCU providing much greater flexibility for dashboard templates and categorisation

API Changes

  • API Security is now based on authenticated tokens
  • A new endpoint has been made available which allows the API to execute a Velocity Report defined within SMARTset. This gives ultimate flexibility to the API

Search updates

  • Searching by Appliance is now permitted
  • The Results panel displays results in a more consistent manner for the different types
  • Admin panel updates and fixes

General Updates

  • Control block updates fixing some edge cases
  • Installer now compatible with Red Hat and variants
  • Admin UI tweaks and updates
  • Widget updates for the Gauge and others
  • System Registration updates now allowing 2 way transfer of Entity Type Settings
Overall the release consists of 25 updates and new features.
